Meet Our Coaches!

JENNY METZDORF has coached at Lake Brantley since 2016. She began playing water polo at Bishop Moore High School and continued on to be the starting goalie for all four years of her college career at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. She was two-time All-MAAC First Team performer and a 2018 Iona College Hall of Fame Inductee.

LOU BUTTICE  has been a part of Patriot Water Polo Club and Lake Brantley High School Water Polo for over 15 years.  He was a parent volunteer during the years his sons played at the high school level.  He is our lead coach for our club Junior Team program.  He has been coaching them for the last 5 years.

NICK BOTTOMLEY has coached at Lake Brantley since 2018.  He began water polo at Lake Brantley High School, where he was the starting goalie for 4 years and earned All -Conference honors for 3 straight seasons.  He continued his career at FSU, where he was the starting goalie for the men's club water polo team for 3 years.  He was named to the All Florida First Team by the CWPA in 2019.

JEN PIACENTI grew up competitive swimming for Patriot Aquatics at the age of 5.   She began playing water polo in high school at Lake Brantley and continued to play for the Gators at University of Florida as a starter all four years.  She was also an 8 time National champion in triathlon competitions.  Coach Jen began coaching the 14u Team in 2023.

KELSEY MCMULLAN has coached beginner swimmers and waterpolo players since 2020. She began playing waterpolo before high school and is currently a member of the women's water polo team at UCF. Kelsey was named an Outstanding All American by USAWP for her dedication to the sport and academics. Coach Kelsey is currently passionate about leading our 12u Team to success in and out of the pool.

Kelsey McMullan

NIK E EDSTROM has coached with Patriot Water Polo since 2021.  He began his career at Lake Brantley High School.  In his senior year he received recognition for most goals scored in FL, 3rd Team USAWP All American, 1st Team All Conference, and SAC Player of the Year.

Nik E Edstrom

PETE PIACENTI is an Orlando native and proud father of three.  University of Florida Alumni.  Lifetime lover of all things sport.  He has been fortunate enough to coach or train with athletes at all levels from elementary school up to professional/world level competitors.  Hopes to bring respect to the title 'Assistant to the assistant'.
